Dude. What a day! I apologize for breaking the natural timeline of things (I realize I'm way behind...). But today was too kewl to not comment on - just got back from seeing a great orchestra performing Mozart (and a couple other standards) in the Musicverein Grosser Saal. Beautiful. Even the opera parts were good.
Feeling very cultured.
Was a little surreal that when I sat there with my eyes closed, listening to the beautiful music, I must have spent 30 mins mentally grappling/problem-solving. I'm really missing my workouts, can't wait to get back to that.
Earlier this morning, we spent a LONG time climbing on a great new ropes/cables course at the top of Kahlenberg. It was awesome - lots of zip lines (HIGH ONES), lots of work on wobbly cables 60 feet off the ground. I was (am) SO proud of the girls - they hit all the beginner, intermediate, and we did 2 of the expert courses. Amazing.
We all climbed for 3.5 hours, had lunch at the outdoor cafe (almost like a heuriger) next to the place.
When we got home, we all collapsed. I think I slept for almost 2 hours - the heat in Vienna is really taking a toll on all of us, but we're having a blast in everything that we do.
